Twilight defeats Trixie and takes the gold!

Twilight Sparkle, who lost in her match with Sunset Shimmer weeks ago, reentered the Million Second Quiz as a wildcard entrant. She won that tournament with over $500,000 in winnings. She faced Vinyl Scratch in the semifinal of the World Trivia Championship, who had over $2,750,000 in winnings. Twilight eliminated Vinyl to advance to the final, which happened immediately after Trixie defeated Rainbow Dash and claimed her total of $245,000. In the final match, the two magic girls faced off against each other with rapid-fire trivia questions over a 20 minute period. Trixie had the chance to force the match to go into a sudden death tiebreaker, but answered the final question incorrectly. As a result, Twilight Sparkle takes home the golden crown and wins the $10,000,000 prize!

However, a few months later, it was announced that the money win by Twilight Sparkle in this competition is being used by Canterlot High School for a massive renovation project that would take place over the course of four consecutive summers, from 2014 to 2017. This automatically stripped Twilight of her winnings except for her crown. She would later win $1,000,000 on Deal or No Deal in late December 2014: Twilight has the $1,000,000 case!
